Introduction of Prime Minister Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP) in place of Rural Employment Generation Programme and PMRY.

To make REGP scheme more effective and accessible to the entrepreneurs, KVIC has launched Rural Industrial Consultancy Services(RICS) under which first generation entrepreneurs are provided services, such as project formulation ,co-ordination with banks, technical support, etc .
